Marie Powell is a Nurse Practitioner and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) — one of very few in Newfoundland and Labrador — and the founder and Medical Director of Terra Aesthetics + Wellness.
She spent much of her career in obesity medicine and bariatric surgery before building Terra around a simple observation: the hormonal, metabolic, and aesthetic changes women bring to a clinic in midlife are usually the same story, and they are treated far better together than separately.
Marie practises menopause and hormone medicine, evidence-based weight management with EVOLT 360 body composition scanning, and medical aesthetics. She completed her CAMA Medical Aesthetics certification in 2022, teaches in graduate nursing programs, and is active in provincial nursing advocacy.
